about
I’m a graduate student in linguistics at the Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY). This year I am visiting at the Institut Jean Nicod in Paris, where I live (in the 10th arrondissement). I travel a lot and cook a lot and read a lot. I should write more than I do. I used to teach linguistics at Rutgers (a job I loved, and miss tremendously). Previous jobs include librarian, information architect, puzzle writer, line cook, pollster, and ESL teacher, among others. I never was able to do a cartwheel but I can recite all fifty states in the union in alphabetical order. My on-again, off-again love affair with brussels sprouts is currently: off (although I’m assuming that will change this fall with increased availability). On! Definitely ON! See here.
